David Ben inspires people to strike the word impossible from their vocabulary.

For twenty years David has been speaking passionately as a kick-off or closing presenter at corporate, association and community gatherings across the United States and Canada about the subjects that interest him: creativity and community, magic and gambling, business and art.

Personal highlights include presentations at IdeaCity (2009), The Smithsonian (2008), Canadian Business Top Fifty Entrepreneur Retreat (2007), and his convocation address for one of his alma maters, the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario (2007).

Drawing on his experience as a performer, writer, producer, and consultant, David has developed three original presentations, each a combination of message and merriment designed to inspire and entertain.

In Magic By Design, David teaches how to make problems disappear in an effective and efficient manner. He demystifies the concept of innovation and transforms his audience into pragmatic problem-solvers.

In Advantage Play, David ushers the audience into the world of advantage players – gamblers who bend the odds in their favor. David demonstrates, using a combination of performance and high definition video, the principles employed to create the winning hand at the card table, in business and in life.

In Shhhhh! It’s a Secret, David explores the things that no one ever tells you: how to set objectives, differentiate between real risk and perceived risk, and perform in pressure-packed situations to great critical acclaim.

In each presentation David uses the metaphor of magic to empower his audience with serious and new ideas – delivered in an entertaining manner – and techniques that they can use both personally and professionally.
